Sarah is a Certified Athletic Trainer, a B3 Sciences BFR certified coach, and the founder of Handstand Health & Sports Medicine.

She is a former level 10 gymnast and USAG certified gymnastics coach with 15 plus years of coaching experience. Sarah’s passion for gymnastics, teaching, and caring for others led her to pursue a career in sports medicine. She obtained a degree in athletic training from SUU and has been certified since 2013. Sarah is a member of the National Athletic Training Association and has worked as an athletic trainer in a variety of settings, including a Division 1 University (BYU), event emergency medical coverage, and in private practice. As a competitive gymnast and a coach, Sarah saw a great need for better medical coverage in the gym and youth sports. Sarah founded Handstand Health and Sports Medicine (HHSM) in 2018 to offer quality and accessible sports medicine care to youth and the general public who don’t usually have access to a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Sarah has experience treating athletes from all sports & backgrounds, but since opening HHSM in 2018 has been specializing in treating mostly artistic athletes (gymnasts, dancers, cheerleaders, divers, etc.) and working as one of TumbleTek’s Resident Athletic Trainers providing emergency medical coverage for their athletes.
